?"Neptune's Point" is one of the most tranquil and beautiful places in Goa. It lies in a small cozy village called Colomb. Palolem beach by it self is a sight to behold, and now added to that, is a comfortable lodging area where one can enjoy time by the beach. Passing through a quaint narrow road and with some help for direction from the friendly villagers, you come face to face with an enchanting little tiled house which so happens to be the booking cum reception office. Here you will meet Mr.Suraj Baban Ballikar, who along with his brothers is running the show.

FACILITIES

If you are tired and require a drink, just opposite the house is a shack consisting of a Bar and Restaurant, which happens to be right on the bank of the sea. For party lovers, there is a spacious open air stage where stage shows and D.J parties and dances are held at least once a week. The cuisine served is of international standards, and if you want a taste of Goan specialties, that too will be provided.

For the explorer there is a path leading to a hillock which surprisingly consists of natural stairs which are fitted with railings. This hillock offers one a scenic view facing the vast expanse of the Arabian sea merging with the Indian ocean on the west with Palolem beach like a necklace along the eastern side.?It is the perfect place to be if one wants to get away from crowded beaches and blaring music.

The opportunity of living in huts by the sea, seems to good to be missed. The huts are all situated on a hillock overlooking the Arabian sea, which ensure privacy and tranquility. They are neat and spacious with the basic electric essentials, and can accommodate a couple comfortably. The huts are also equipped with bathroom and toilet facilities as per European standards. Staying in one of these huts would be an experience one will treasure and will most certainly want more of.

The huge rocks along the coast is ideal for sunbathing and the little rock pools created with the tides are perfect for fishing. The sunset is another fascinating part of this haven, which one will have to see to believe. Book lovers may just also become Neptune's Point lovers as it is most certainly a joy to read a book with cool sea breeze in your hair. The sand on this beach is almost white which can be compared to walking on a carpet woven together by nature herself! The mountain full of palms provide the necessary shade to make it a heaven on earth experience. Patience reaps rewards, and if one shows a bit of it, one is sure to view dolphins all over the sea, as they come out to play when all is silent. When the night casts her dark veil over the sky, music is provided for those who like a bit of dancing! It is certainly a place to have a lot of fun in the sun!
