Laguna Anjuna is a unique resort just waiting to be explored and experienced. It is simple but stylish. Spacious cottages have been cleverly built around existing coconut palms and natural forms created from indigenous materials. Stone pillars and arches, white washed walls and wooden rafters combine to give a simple rustic look.

The interiors have been painstakingly planned for each cottage. Again the accent is on grace, simplicity, use of locally available materials, traditional workmanship and comfort. Most of the places have their own private little sit-out. The wrought-iron furniture has been individually designed for each room with attention to comfort and style. Lamps, mirror frames and the judicious use of built-in levels and seating areas have been carefully planned. A large free-form pool is set in lush tropical gardens with gently swaying banana palms, bamboo and mango trees - perfect for lazy days. With its laid back atmosphere (you'll hear plenty of jazz, blues and ambient trance playing here), Laguna Anjuna is ideal for those looking to chill in comfort.

All the cottages are of different size and shape, and each has its own unique features. Externally the place is appealing, with thick laterite stonework and pillars and dome like vaults. The roof is a fully continuous one of wooden rafters and terracotta tiles, curving and swooping to interconnect the various cottages.

The individual villas have been so designed and constructed to maintain the trees, which add to the rural ambience of the place. It's almost like walking into a miniature village as the cottages are connected by a stone pathway. Interestingly all cottages have their own courtyards too, some private and others common, with each villa being of different size and shape. The villas have been constructed in natural stone, while the interiors have relied on locally available materials, traditional workmanship and comfort. Laguna Anjuna is the right place for a short break, a weekend outing or an extended stay.?

The refreshingly different distinguishing feature of the resort is the large free form swimming pool skirted by tropical plants and vegetation - including frangipani, banana plants, bamboo, grass and mango trees producing a lagoon like appearance. The water ionization , filtration system is an added advantage requiring minimal use of chlorine and other algaicides.

Restaurant and Bar

The Restaurant and bar are set in a large Portuguese era mansion, with long verandas and patios overlooking a beautiful tropical garden and the fields and valley beyond to maintain the 'green' atmosphere.

Laguna Anjuna is tucked away from the hurly burly in a haven of tranquility all its own. It is stylish but completely unpretentious. Service is friendly and efficient and the food excellent. Here the emphasis is on classic recipes from various cuisines, quality of ingredients and style by way of old fashioned silverware, damask linen etc. Good taste is endorsed here rather than opulence and extravagance. And it is also easy on the pocket.

Laguna Anjuna offers space and grace in a country resort which is still very much rural Goa. We are purely a leisure and holiday hotel. We also have 2 bedroom cottages with living room and attached bathrooms, ideal for families and friends traveling together.

Terms for booking and cancellation

• 50% advance preferably by offering a credit card or deposit into our
  account.

• 100% advance during the peak season of 20th December to 15th January.

  Part or full refunds may be made upon cancellation at the hotels discretion
  depending upon the circumstances of the cancellation and the booking
  position.

From the airport, Laguna Anjuna is a pleasant 45 minute drive past coconut groves and paddy fields. Its 18 kms from Panaji, the capital city of Goa and 8 Kms from Mapusa city.
