carnival festival to begin from den 13

Carnival Festival 2010 will be celebrated in Goa from 13th to 16th February 2010. A meeting of the organizing Committee under the Chairmanship of Minister for Tourism Shri Francisco Pacheco was held at Secretariat,  Porvorim today.
            In the meeting it was decided to organize float parade at Panaji on                  13th February, at Margao on 14th February, at Vasco on 15th February and at Mapusa on 16th February. In the meeting various tasks and duties were allocated to various Government Departments.
            Chairperson of Margao Municipal Council, Shri Savio Coutinho, Secretary Tourism, Dr. M. Modassir, Vice Chairman of GTDC, Shri Lyndon Monteiro, Director of Tourism, Shri Swapnil Naik, Managing Director of GTDC, Shri Nikhil Desai and official of various Government Departments were among those present in the meeting.
