Mobile dialysis unit launched

Health Minister Shri Vishwajeet Rane today inaugurated a Mobile Dialysis Unit introduced by Lord Dialysis Rapid Action Trust at a function held at Hospital Complex, Bambolim.

 

The mobile dialysis unit introduced by a Trust in Goa will go the doorstep of patients in Goa to give dialysis to needy patients.  The Government will give free dialysis to patients through this Trust.

 

Speaking on the occasion Health Minister complimented the Trust and      Shri Venkatesh for starting a mobile dialysis unit in Goa.  He said Goa is the first State to give free dialysis to needy patients.  He said the Government will extend all support to the Trust in reimbursing the expenditure.

 

Dean of GMC and Hospital Dr. V. N. Jindal, Supt. of GMC and Hospital        Dr. Rajendra Cuncolienkar, Shri Venkatesh, Professors, Doctors and staff members were present on the occasion.
